Macquarie warrants can be bought and sold on the SGX through any stockbroker, it is as easy as buying shares.

Like shares, each Warrant has an identification code assigned by the SGX. For example, ST MB ECW050831, this code contains the following information about the warrant:

 "ST"  Underlying instrument  The underlying asset is Singapore Telecom
 "MB"  Issuer  Macquarie Bank is the issuer
 "E"  Exercise style  Represents a European style warrant ("A" represents American style)
 "CW"  Type of warrant  Represents a Call Warrant ("PW" represents a Put Warrant)
 "050831"  Expiry date  The warrant will expire on 31 August 2005
